Use Cash-basis AND Accural-basis accounting in every available report in Sage Fund Accounting with TeamNFP’s Accrual-to-Cash TM8.

There are many techniques for developing single reports on a cash basis from your Sage data if you have some facility with SQL. Several organizations, for example, have developed a basic, cash basis check register. But our Accrual-to-Cash Bridge TM8 customers need extensive reporting on both the cash and the accrual basis and that need is best met by actually running two Sage Fund Accounting Organization databases, one on each basis.

We transfer the transactions from your accrual-basis database and re-state them on a cash basis for you. No duplicate data entry, but all the reporting benefits of a duplicated accounting system.

But simply changing the effective dates of the revenue and expense items that were later realized as cash doesn’t really provide cash basis accounting. So, Accrual-to-Cash TM8 also allows you to configure GL account substitution so that, for example, the pre-paids you booked in your accrual system are recorded against the related expense accounts when the transactions are re-stated during the transfer.
